New Global Logistics Centre for Lakeland Dairies

ViS recently completed the installation of an IP based video surveillance system for Lakeland Dairies at their new Global Logistics Centre. The solution is based on Bosch IP video surveillance products with Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA). Wi-Fi enabled IP cameras were installed onto automatic forklift trucks within the warehouse facility to provide high quality video surveillance images, which enabled the automatic palletisers and pallet wrapping systems, to be remotely viewed and managed. LED lighting and duplex audio were also integrated within the automated processes. The IP video surveillance solution uses the Bosch BVMS application to form the single site-wide control system for use by security, process control and the logistics teams for the site.
